TOUR CULTURAL TOURIST-CLASS 1946 GROUP OF ST JAMES Conscripts, AHRNTAL - Bolzano.
A friendly group of 20 young men, born in 1946, led by Mr. Mark Sparapani, from St. James, Ahrntal-Bolzano, were guests of the Museum Gallery Valenti Gonzaga. The host, Prof. A. Rocco Linardi accompanied the tourists welcome, and led to the discovery of one of the most secret of civilization, history and art of the Baroque age of Mantua. The visit ended with a toast about friendship.

Distinguished guests visiting the Museum Gallery Valenti Gonzaga.
Dr. Guido Venturini, former Director General of the Italian Touring Club, now Director General of Confindustria Bergamo, was a guest, along with a group of 10 friends, the Galerie Museum Valenti Gonzaga. Prof. Alfonso Rocco Linardi welcomed the distinguished guests, and in fact has served as a guide. Visitors particularly appreciated the extraordinary opening of the Family Chapel, where Cardinal Silvio Valenti Gonzaga (Mantua 1690 - Viterbo 1756) celebrated the ecclesiastical rites for the components of the noble offspring. In the 'honor of the Museum, Dr. Guido Venturini wrote: "With me and my friends in my Julia Mantua in this beautiful palace."

Gallery in the Museum of Palazzo Valenti Gonzaga was held the press conference. Visit of the Italian Touring Club - Section of Mantua, Brescia and Milan, the Galleria Museum Valenti Gonzaga.
Accompanied by the Consul Mr. Antonio Lodigiani, a large group of members of the Italian Touring Club - Section of Mantua, Brescia and Milan, was welcomed by the Director of the Museum Valenti Gonzaga, Professor Alfonso Linardi Rocco, who in fact has shown the important work restoration, carried out to restore its former glory and make public use of the magnificence of the historic Palace of the Marquis Valenti Gonzaga.
At the end of the visit, on behalf of all members, the Consul Mr. Antonio Lodigiani has expressed congratulations, showing great attention to the sculptures of Giovanni Battista Barberini and the frescoes by Frans Geffels. In particular, the Consul has stressed how collaboration between private and public can be an enrichment of the tourist valance. Finally, the Consul has made ??a gift to Prof. Linardi of the journal "here TOURING - November 2010" and the guide "Mantova, treasures of art, nature parks traditions and local products."
On the 'Roll of Honour one of the partners, coming from Abruzzo, has literally wrote: "This afternoon I spent in your company is a sign of boundless love for art, some politicians, alas, would have us believe that with it you do not eat".

LEARNING WEEK
"CULTURE, TOURISM AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN MANTUA: IDENTITY ', AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT"
The Museum of Palazzo Valenti Gonzaga was chosen as a study in a project carried out by the Province of Mantua, through its Special Agency FORM MANTUA, in connection with the development of "Cultural Districts" in the area. The project saw the involvement of the High School "Bonomi-Mazzolari" in the training of tour operators, with groups of students from 3 rd - 4 th - 5 th year. The students visited the Museum Gallery Valenti Gonzaga were accompanied by Prof. Petrobelli and Novellini.

Museum Education - For two classes of the Comprehensive "L. Levi," accompanied by Dr. Roberto Bows Drigente school and two teachers, was made a tour of the Museum Gallery Valenti Gonzaga.
Among the objectives of the Museum Valenti Gonzaga is indeed the task of developing the educational and support educational institutions, in order to use the museum as a teaching laboratory.
The students were impressed and amazed by the sumptuous Baroque decoration.
The Director of the Museum Valenti Gonzaga, called by students, has outlined a historical profile of the Flemish artist Frans Geffels and Giovan Battista Barberini.

The Gallery Museum Valenti Gonzaga wins, after a pressing auction, an authentic manuscript in
watermark with the seal of the Papal States. This is "... the print of the new statement of the Edit published in May 1750 issued by the “Emo Camerlengo” about the free trade of cloths and rags so that it was allowed to be hung in the usual place of this city ..." Viterbo dated 24th May 1751.
The document contains the original signature of Cardinal Silvio Valenti Gonzaga on a letter addressed to the Governor of Acquapendente Viterbo).

In the Gallery and in the Camera del Figliuol Prodigo of Palazzo Valenti Gonzaga in Mantua was held the presentation ceremony of the winners for the 15 edition of the Giuseppe Acerbi literary prize.

Alfonso Monfardini’s posthumous permanent exhibition, arranged in the Sixteenth century rooms of Palace Valenti Gonzaga in Mantua.
Alfonso Monfardini, painter-sculptor (Mantua 1887 - 1965) On the 120 th anniversary of his birth, the masterpieces of Alfonso Monfardini have come back to Mantua, in Palazzo Valenti Gonzaga, where the artist already exhibited in 1920. More than 80 paintings and some sculptures, all unpublished works from the private collection Artioli-Mortari-Linardi, by one of the most popular artists in Mantua are permanently exhibited in the Gallery Museum Valenti Gonzaga in Via Frattini 7 in Mantua.
The Still Life is the most relevant work. It was exhibited in the XXV edition of the Venice Biennale – In 1950 this work was selected by an authoritative commission of examiners composed by Felice Carena, Carlo Carrà, Felice Casorati, Giacomo Manzù and Giorgio Morandi.
