TOUR CULTURAL TOURIST-CLASS 1946 GROUP OF ST JAMES Conscripts, AHRNTAL - Bolzano.
A friendly group of 20 young men, born in 1946, led by Mr. Mark Sparapani, from St. James, Ahrntal-Bolzano, were guests of the Museum Gallery Valenti Gonzaga. The host, Prof. A. Rocco Linardi accompanied the tourists welcome, and led to the discovery of one of the most secret of civilization, history and art of the Baroque age of Mantua. The visit ended with a toast about friendship.

Visitors particularly appreciated the extraordinary opening of the Family Chapel, where Cardinal Silvio Valenti Gonzaga (Mantua 1690 - Viterbo 1756) celebrated the ecclesiastical rites for the components of the noble offspring. The Museum of Palazzo Valenti Gonzaga was chosen as a study in a project carried out by the Province of Mantua, through its Special Agency FORM MANTUA, in connection with the development of "Cultural Districts" in the area. The Museum Gallery of Palazzo Valenti Gonzaga enters the circuit Mantua-Verona Card.
Museum Education - For two classes of the Comprehensive "L. Levi," accompanied by Dr. Roberto Bows Drigente school and two teachers, was made a tour of the Museum Gallery Valenti Gonzaga.

The Gallery Museum Valenti Gonzaga wins, after a pressing auction, an authentic manuscript in
watermark with the seal of the Papal States. This is "... the print of the new statement of the Edit published in May 1750 issued by the “Emo Camerlengo” about the free trade of cloths and rags so that it was allowed to be hung in the usual place of this city ..." Viterbo dated 24th May 1751.

Alfonso Monfardini’s posthumous permanent exhibition, arranged in the Sixteenth century rooms of Palace Valenti Gonzaga in Mantua.
Alfonso Monfardini, painter-sculptor (Mantua 1887 - 1965) On the 120 th anniversary of his birth, the masterpieces of Alfonso Monfardini have come back to Mantua, in Palazzo Valenti Gonzaga, where the artist already exhibited in 1920. More than 80 paintings and some sculptures, all unpublished works from the private collection Artioli-Mortari-Linardi, by one of the most popular artists in Mantua are permanently exhibited in the Gallery Museum Valenti Gonzaga in Via Frattini 7 in Mantua.
The Still Life is the most relevant work. It was exhibited in the XXV edition of the Venice Biennale – In 1950 this work was selected by an authoritative commission of examiners composed by Felice Carena, Carlo Carrà, Felice Casorati, Giacomo Manzù and Giorgio Morandi.
